  In a quiet Victorian corner of our township, in the heart of Vankleek Hill, we invite you to browse through Champlain Township Public Library’s collection of over 18,000 items.

Borrow books from our adult, junior, juvenile and young adult collections or from our DVD and CD collection, obtain information for a research project from our reference or genealogy collection. Seven C.A.P. computers are available to be used for that special school project or just for fun. We also have quiet work areas to do research, homework or to just relax and browse through a book or magazine.


We offer a wide variety of material including large print and audio books. We have two specially designated areas for children's books as well as magazines and periodicals, videos and CDs which can all be borrowed with a library membership.


Membership is free to all residents of Champlain Township and East Hawkesbury.
A nominal annual membership fee is charged to non-residents.

Monday and Wednesday:
1-5 pm, 7-8 pm
Tuesday: 10am-6 pm, 7-8 pm
Thursday: 1-6 pm 7-8 pm
Friday: 1-6 pm
Saturday: 10am-noon

Summer hours: Closed Saturdays

A drop chute, located beside the front door, is available for your convenience.
