Our collection is now made up of over 18,000 items.
We have large Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction collections. At the
front of the library we feature our newest acquisitions in both
English and French. We also have a selection of over 750 Videos,
we subscribe to over 50 Magazines and we have a varied CD collection for teens and adults.
Our “Kid’s Pit” is a very inviting spot for small
children to select their own books from over the thousands of children’s
storybooks we have in our Children’s collection.
Upstairs on the Mezzanine, older children can choose from a wide variety of Juvenile fiction and non-fiction.
Whether they have a school project or just want some recreational
reading, there is something for all tastes on the Mezzanine.
The vault houses our Young Adult collection. It also serves as a place where teens can gather just to talk.
We have a small genealogy and local history collection as well.
Champlain Township Public Library’s collection
is now computerized. We have one computer located at the front of
the library for our OPAC (On-line Public
Access Catalogue) electronic catalogue
and each of the C.A.P. computers also has this program available
to access to our collection.
