Our collection is now made up of over 18,000 items.
We have large Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction collections. At the
front of the library we feature our newest acquisitions in both
English and French. We also have a selection of over 150 Videos,
we subscribe to almost 30 Magazines and we have a small CD collection.
Our “Kid’s Pit” is a very inviting spot for small
children to select their own books from over the thousands of children’s
storybooks we have in our Children’s collection.
Upstairs on the Mezzanine, older children and teens
can choose from a wide variety of Juvenile fiction and non-fiction.
Whether they have a school project or just want some recreational
reading, there is something for all tastes on the Mezzanine.
The vault houses both English and French Reference
books and look up information for any number of projects from our
many encyclopedias. Our Genealogy collection and many Atlases also
reside in the Vault.
Champlain Township Public Library’s collection
is now computerized. We have one computer located at the front of
the library for our OPAC (On-line Public
Access Catalogue) electronic catalogue
and each of the C.A.P. computers also has this program available
to access to our collection.
